1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) outlines the rules and standards for using the Indigify platform. It is intended to ensure that all users—buyers, vendors, and visitors—engage with the platform respectfully, legally, and in a manner that supports the dignity and integrity of Indigenous communities.
2. Prohibited Conduct
Users of Indigify may not use the platform to engage in the following activities:
- Misrepresenting Indigenous identity or ownership
- Posting or selling counterfeit, stolen, illegal, or hazardous goods
- Distributing false, misleading, or defamatory information
- Harassing, threatening, bullying, or discriminating against other users
- Violating intellectual property rights, including unauthorized use of copyrighted materials or trademarks
- Circumventing platform fees, payment systems, or verification processes
- Interfering with platform operations, security systems, or access controls
- Deploying bots, scripts, scrapers, or automated tools to extract data without permission
- Uploading malware, viruses, or harmful code
- Attempting to impersonate Indigify or another user
3. Platform Integrity and Safety
To maintain the trust and security of the platform, users must:
- Engage only in lawful, good-faith commerce and communication
- Maintain accurate information in their profiles and listings
- Report violations or suspicious behavior to the Indigify support team
- Cooperate with investigations or verification requests as needed
4. Enforcement and Consequences
Violations of this AUP may result in actions including, but not limited to:
- Removal of content or listings
- Suspension or permanent termination of account access
- Withholding of funds or transaction reversals
- Legal reporting to authorities where required
- Loss of vendor verification or preferred status
Indigify reserves the right to take appropriate action at its discretion to ensure platform safety and compliance.
5. Updates to This Policy
Indigify may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes through the platform or by email. Continued use of the platform following changes indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
